There is a Faculty Director for each of the Economics Department's Undergraduate and Graduate Programs as well as two Staff Undergraduate Advisors and a Staff Graduate Advisor.

These individuals are responsible for resolving all issues related to advising including the following:

• determining the acceptance of transfer courses
• satisfaction of major requirements
• determining honors in the major
• handling curricular matters

In addition to the Directors and Staff Advisors, all other economics faculty are available to advise students in any major program. Students are strongly encouraged to avail themselves of these resources.

If you are DECLARING YOUR MAJOR, attend a declaration of major advising session and print off the two forms (petition for major/minor and academic planning form).

Please Note: You are advised to bring verification of your grades in ECON 1 & 2 to the Declaration of Major Advising Session. If you do not bring the verification, your form could be delayed up to 48 hours.
